本周末，上海枫叶双语学校成了申城围棋少年与家长们瞩目的焦点！规模空前、人气爆棚的2025年“顾水如杯”上海市青少年围棋升段赛在我校盛大举行！超过1200名棋坛少年在此纹枰论道，3000余名家长汇聚枫叶校园。这场智慧与毅力的盛宴圆满举行，不仅彰显了赛事的成功，更生动诠释了上海枫叶双语学校作为一所现代化、国际化学校的卓越实力与独特魅力！

这场围棋赛事，让众多上海家庭第一次如此深入地走进枫叶、感受枫叶。上海枫叶所呈现的，远不止是一个完美的赛场。当1200名小棋手在上海枫叶双语学校的赛场内凝神对弈时，赛场外的家长们在东西阶梯教室里，开启了一场“沉浸式教育探秘”。赛事落幕，许多家长迟迟不愿离场——“原来只是陪孩子比赛，没想到被这所学校‘种草’了！”，成了他们共同的心声。更有家长表示：“孩子赛后拉着我去看南楼的‘世界名校墙’，指着多伦多大学标志说：妈妈， 我以后想去这里。”

This weekend, Shanghai Maple Leaf Bilingual School became the center of attention for young Go players and parents across Shanghai! The unprecedentedly large and immensely popular 2025 "Gu Shuiru Cup" Shanghai Youth Go Grading Tournament was grandly held at our school! Over 1,200 young players gathered here, showcasing their strategic skills on the board, while more than 3,000 parents converged on the Maple Leaf campus. The successful completion of this feast of wisdom and perseverance not only highlighted the triumph of the event but also vividly demonstrated the exceptional strength and unique charm of Shanghai Maple Leaf Bilingual School as a modern, international institution!

This Go tournament offered countless Shanghai families their first deep immersion into the Maple Leaf experience. What Shanghai Maple Leaf presented was far more than just a flawless competition venue. While the 1,200 young players focused intently on their matches inside the tournament halls, parents outside embarked on an "immersive educational exploration" in the East and West Lecture Halls. Long after the tournament ended, many parents lingered, reluctant to leave—"We came just to accompany our children to the competition, but unexpectedly found ourselves won over by this school!" became their shared sentiment. One parent even remarked: "After the match, my child excitedly pulled me to see the 'World Elite Universities Wall' in the South Building, pointed to the University of Toronto logo, and said, 'Mom, I want to go here in the future.'"
